PowerSteered PS7000+ — overview

The PS7000+ is MasterMover's ultra heavy-duty electric tug, moving loads up to 70,000 kg on castors or 280,000 kg on rails under the control of a single operator. Full wireless remote operation lets the operator step away from the load and take the ideal viewing point, maximising safety and visibility. An 80 V system with a 9 kW AC drive produces over 44,000 N of push and pull force, while a heavy-duty three-point hydraulic coupling with self-levelling hydraulics delivers 5,000 kg of lift force to keep the load secure — even on slopes. Interchangeable maintenance-free AGM batteries support 24/7 operation, and MultiLink allows several tugs to work together under one operator, with AGV conversion available. The IP64-rated 2,600 kg chassis suits shipbuilding, rail, aerospace, energy and heavy-plant manufacturing where tractors or cranes were previously the only option.
