Yes. Our factory-trained engineers service every brand on Irish sites — Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, Yale, Crown, Combilift, Still, Doosan, Manitou, JCB and more, as well as the Xilin, MasterMover and ORI ranges we distribute.

How often does a forklift need to be serviced?

Most electric forklifts run on a 6 or 12-month PM schedule based on hours; heavy-duty and multi-shift trucks are typically 3-monthly. Statutory Thorough Examinations (LOLER) are required at least every 12 months, or every 6 months for equipment that lifts people. We build the right schedule around your actual hours and duty cycle.

What's the difference between preventative maintenance and full contract cover?

Preventative maintenance covers scheduled servicing only — you pay separately for callouts, parts and labour. Full contract cover bundles PM, all parts, all labour, tyres, breakdown response and Thorough Examinations into one fixed monthly figure with no surprise invoices.

Do you use genuine OEM parts?

Yes. AWE only fits genuine manufacturer parts — this protects your warranty, keeps residual values up and, in our experience, is cheaper over the life of the truck than pattern parts that need replacing twice as often.

Are your engineers factory-trained?

Yes. Our technicians are manufacturer-certified on Xilin and MasterMover and carry equivalent training on the major all-makes brands. Every van is a fully-equipped mobile workshop.

Can you take over a service contract from another supplier?

Yes — this is one of our most common projects. We audit each truck, take over the paperwork, and typically deliver a lower total cost within 90 days by consolidating suppliers and moving to genuine parts.

Contract customers get a priority response for contract customers anywhere in Ireland. Ad-hoc callouts are typically same-day in the greater Dublin area and next working day nationwide. All our service vans are stocked with the fast-moving parts for Xilin, MasterMover and most Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich and Combilift models.

What it costs

What forklift servicing and maintenance costs

Service pricing depends on the fleet in front of us, not a list price — a single ageing diesel and ten near-new electrics are very different propositions.

Fleet size and mix

Makes, models, ages and power sources all change parts consumption and labour time. Larger fleets attract better per-truck pricing.

Operating hours

Service intervals are driven by hours, not the calendar. A double-shift truck needs more visits a year than a truck used a few hours a week.

Level of cover

Preventative maintenance only, PM plus parts and labour, or full contract cover including tyres and breakdowns — three very different monthly figures.

Site and location

Distance from our Rathcoole depot, the number of sites and site access all affect travel time built into the contract.

Environment

Cold store, food, chemical and abrasive environments wear trucks faster and need more frequent attention.
