Training at your premises

The most realistic training environment is the one your operators work in

Sending operators to a training centre certifies them on someone else's truck, in someone else's building, against hazards they will never meet again. On-site training removes all of that. AWE brings the accredited syllabus, the instructor and the paperwork to your premises, and your team trains on the trucks they drive, in the aisles they work, alongside the pedestrian routes and ramps that actually create the risk. It also removes the travel: no mileage, no overnight stays and no full days lost from the roster for people who only needed a one-day refresher. We deliver nationwide, and we schedule around production — including evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Why on-site

What you get from training in your own building

Trained on your own trucks

Operators certify on the exact machine, mast height and controls they will use on Monday morning — not a generic centre truck.

Your layout, your hazards

Real aisles, real ramps, real pedestrian routes and real racking, so the assessment reflects the risks that actually exist.

No travel, no lost days

Nobody drives across the country to a course. The team stays on site and returns to work the moment the assessment ends.

Scheduled around production

Evening, weekend and shift-pattern delivery so the warehouse keeps moving while operators are certified in groups.

On-site vs training centre

Which makes more sense for your team?

Below two candidates a centre course often wins. Above it, on-site usually does.

We will quote both ways so you can compare on your own numbers.

FAQ

On-site training — common questions

A suitable truck in safe working order, a clear area for the practical element (racking or stacking space where the course requires it), pallets or a representative load, a room or quiet space for the theory session, and site induction for the instructor. We bring the syllabus, handouts, assessment materials and certification paperwork.
